Exact same situation as what Brooke Sapp posted in her review. I was so impressed with this cute store and bought several items for my daughter of which one of the items was small for the size I bought. I purchased it Saturday, July 9 and returned it Monday, July 11 (within one business day) with tags still on the items with my original receipt not asking for a refund but simply exchange for a size that fit and they wouldn’t accept an exchange or store credit because it was a sale item. I specifically told the cashier that I apologize, but no one told me that when I bought the item on Saturday nor was the clear signage anywhere that specified no returns of sale items, and I was simply looking to exchange for a size up. The cashier was very understanding and said that they're supposed to notify customers anytime anything is purchased that's final sale and apologized for the miscommunication. There was a tiny sign around the register under the glass (so it gets covered up by your items/the bag when you checkout) that said sale items are final and there was tiny fine print at the bottom of my receipt - which I received after the purchase of course. The other sales associate who worked to try and 'remedy' the situation returned back saying that all sales are final when they're at a discount and nothing could be done. Contrary to the apologetic original cashier who also mentioned that I was supposed to be told on Saturday when I purchased the item and was not told. Poor customer service - a shame that the two differed in how to resolve the situation and a shame that they don't post the final sale notice anywhere that is actually visible to the customers. Because of this, I will not be back as a customer. I think the most concerning part to me is that there is another review of the same story. A true shame that they aren't clearly posting signs or communicating that discount items are final sale. Had I been communicated too, I would've either purchased a size (or several) up from the beginning or not purchased at all.
