This place's only plus is how late they are open. If you like the idea of eating a bit of tomatoe sauce on a flip flop, you will love this place. The pizza is nothing like GOOD pizza. You get spongy chew bread with a hit of tomatoe sauce on it. The prices seem great at first until you actually get your "pizza". The good reviews here had me really excited about possibly finding a new gem. It was such a let-down. What I found from reading these high star reviews is that most people here in San Antonio have never really had good pizza. That makes me so sad for them. Especially if they think THIS is good pizza. (Smh) Updated to include the following: Cappo's here in San Antonio has some of the absolute BEST pizza in San Antonio. Every bit as good as the premium pizza restaurants and better.
A definite recommendation! Was referred to this place by a good friend, and have been coming to this place for a few years now. I'm not going to go into specifics about being a pizza connoisseur and which style of pizza or which pizza joint is 'the best.' All I know is that this place does pizza right, and will take this pizza over many other joints. The staff is friendly, but be warned, this place can get busy, but the wait is worth it. Usually go for the buy one get one free deal (pickup or dine in only) which is a great value. They also have salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts.
Its a bust. Pickup system is broken. I highly suggest passing on this place.
