Do not build your home with them! Within a year of having our home build by them we had issues. Shingles fell off, roof leaking, and stair wood coming off. They have a one year insurance on any fixtures all we had to do was fill out the form and email Elsa. It took Elsa forever to email us back and to tell us they already had sent someone to fix issues. I had to email her pictures of the shingles that were still on the floor and ask when exactly did they show up because the roof was still missing them. They addressed one issue.. the roof started leaking within the first major rain. All they did was sent someone to patch the inside. Anyone knows that if your ceiling is leaking you have roof issues. Next heavy rain came along and the roof is leaking, by this time it's been about a year and one month into our home. We tried reaching out to Elsa and Arnold, but both ignored us. When finally getting a hold of Elsa she state "Arnold said they couldn't do anything." WOW!! All McKenny Glenn did was patch the ceiling inside, they did not fix the issue. I would not recommend them AT ALL! Unprofessional! Not responsible! Poor quality! Please save yourself a headache and do your homework and find someone else.

I had issues from the beginning of the building process, from the type of foundation and errors in the layout of the plumbing in the foundation which had to be broken up and patched, to using an inferior quality paint and wrong sheen than what was on the contract. All the way through the end, by never receiving factory window screens and finishing a bathroom mirror. Also, they will dump worthless caliche through the yard, which is a horrible base for any grass or plants. These are just some of the many issues I dealt with throughout the process and still paying to make it right. This company is all about money and making the most profit possible and not about customer service. Even when there were obvious mistakes, I had to fight arduously to get them fixed. They use the cheapest contractors and there is no quality control during the project. Project manager (Arnold) stopped answering the phone and responding to messages halfway through the project and rarely went to property unless I asked him to. Also the air conditioner drain pipe came apart in the attic and caused water damage on the ceiling, wall, and laminate floor where it drained all over. Refused to fix the damage caused by the water. Latest issue is leaking windows and water comes into the house when it rains because they dont properly install them. And they dont even put trim around the side or back windows (cheap)

Janie and Arnold were so patient and responsive with us, even after I changed the paint colors for the nth time. Throughout the whole process, the team was ready to answer questions via phone, email, or in person and were proactive about much of the process. We were allowed to cut and paste our floor plan together from hundreds of options with no extra fee and were very insightful with suggestions to make our vision happen. The process took about 8 months from the very start (inquiry- key). They are willing to be as involved as you want them to be during designing process and at no point gave us a hard time about answering the dozens of questions or changes we had, even on the day when we were supposed to sign off on the prints. We are 5 months post-build and they still answer our questions promtly and send in their team to check on things if they are not right for whatever reason.

***Update*** Absolutely disgusted with our treatment from McKenny Glenn's superintendent, Henry. His response to his incompetence is to become condescending and hostile toward homeowners. His lack of understanding of building codes and processes is abhorrent and due to rampant incompetence in McKenny Glenn's management, he remains employed. Just walk away from McKenny Glenn and associated building companies. Having worked in the home building industry, I know what quality control and customer service standards look like. McKenny Glenn falls horribly short on both of these. I purchased a house from them, and have regretted it since. Instead of them making the experience better for us, they have continuously ignored us and neglected to address repairs needed. I highly discourage anyone from doing any business with them.
