Posting this in hopes the communication reaches the owner. The management changed about a year ago. The vacancies have been increasing since. Now the why. This is some solid Class B Office space. Shared bathrooms, decent buildouts, minimal amenities. It's far from class A Office Space. Tracey the new manager claims to have researched the rent in the area and believes that the Atrium was under priced. For about the last year, Tracey has been attempting to get tenants to increase the rent they are paying and the vacancies are increasing. He is under the belief that the property is worth $2.60 a sq ft. It is not. $1.75 to $2.00 a sq foot is what is being advertised all over the area. If he let's you in at a reasonable market rate (1.75 - 2.00) he is going to attempt the "bait and switch" in hopes to substantially increase your rent because you won't want to relocate. It's pretty sad really. Many of the tenants are leaving and will continue to do so. Price it at market level and people will stay. I don't think I will be renewing my lease.
