We are by appointment only at this time. Petite Pets is a very busy puppy store especially on the weekends. When we are with a customer we are with them for 30-90 minutes at a time. We have a limited staff during business hours, as well as a limited amount of puppies for sale. When we are open we are busy helping customers who have booked appointments ahead of time. We have a small staff, and have limited space in the store which is why we can only accommodate a few customers at a time in order to keep everyone safe. We allow customers who book appointments to come in and interact and hold the puppies.

Rude customer service. State they are busy and wont answer door when there is no one inside the store. Waste of time. Go to a a reputable store and purchase from a better breeder. If you want a connection with a dog dont go here. Theyd rather sell you a photo than a proper dog.

DEVASTATED!!!!!!I have been a loyal customer for over 5 plus years ..... I have two small dogs that I faithfully took to get groomed from "Lou" ..... Last week I took one of the dogs to be groomed at 9 am and was told to pick him back up at 11..... When I returned my dog was in the cage not breathing right and I went outside where Lou was taking a smoke and to the front desk to the OWNER Barbara and said that he was not breathing right and the response I received was that "they are not vets " I ran out to get home to call my dogs vet and and in the meantime the dog not only couldn't breathe but he couldn't stand up on his legs ..... I rushed the dog to the vet an on my way I called petite pets back cause I couldn't understand what had happened to him within the two hrs I had left him there and I was told " HE WAS FINE ".... I arrived at the animal hospital at 11:45 and at 12 less that a hour later that I picked him up he's died we are so devastated and this was so unexpected that I again called the owner Barbara and I told her and she said she would speak with Lou because he already left for the day and after seeming somewhat sympathetic she said she would call us after she spoke to him so we would have some closure after having the dog as family member for 12 years !!!! Not only did we never hear from her but we stopped there two days later to speak to Lou and maybe Barbara and Lou never said he was sorry and beyond weird with us and the owner wasn't there but we were told she would call us and she never did !!!!!! This has been a really sad time for us as a family losing this sweet little innocent dog and not clear exactly why but the animal hospital did say that he must have been under some kind of distress at the groomer and if the payed attention to him maybe we could have helped him or saved him and got him to the animal hospital sooner ..... This business not only breeds and sells dogs but it grooms also and sadly they have no heart or seeing towards these animals or families ... Think again before u drop ur loved one here because u might not see them again and don't expect any answers or sympathy !!!!! Rest in peace little man and I hope ur running around free I know u didn't expect what happened to u that morning and we weren't ready to lose you .....

On Oct 31st, 2020 my husband and I brought home our beautiful fur baby Annie Frances. Lisa and the entire staff at Petite Pets were loving, caring, and so kind taking us through the process of finding our little one. The way they care for the puppies they have is exceptional and I admire the high standards they set. What I admire even more is their amazing follow through in keeping in touch. Even 6 months after getting Annie, I feel comfortable enough to call and ask for advice only to be greeted with love and warmth. Petite Pets is top notched and I would give them more than 5 stars if I were allowed!

We sincerely apologize if you were unhappy about your experience. Petite pets is very particular in the homes our puppies are placed in. We want to ensure our puppies are the right fit for our customers, which includes a work schedule that is conducive for having a young puppy. A responsible, quality puppy store should make sure the forever home a puppy is going to meets their standards of a proper environment. Petite pets qualifies everyone that comes into the store to make sure their puppies are placed in the right home.

EDIT: Wow, reading some of these reviews Im surprised that this place is in business (very similar to my experience)...Hopefully they close doors soon, Huntington is a great community with a lot of great small businesses. Don't waste your time. My fiancé and I just left absolutely disgusted. Immediately after walking in the door we were greeted by a very foul odor (smelled much worse than any pet store we had ever been inside). After that we were ignored by a woman who was too busy to speak to us. She was then asked by a co-worker to show us around the back of the store to see the puppies. After she sighed and told us to follow her, we were told not to touch the puppies. After looking at the puppies for about 5 min the woman told us based on our work schedules we "cannot have a puppy". We felt very uncomfortable and left. We purchased our new puppy at BowWow Babies. I would highly advise anyone who is looking for a puppy not to shop here.
