If you want to feel like you're unpopular and in high school again...go here. The staff seemed very judgmental and stood around talking to eachother. Never asked me for help but asked the better dressed person next to me if they needed help. I dont understand this mentality at all, especially when you WORK in a retail store...not own it.
Thank you so much for reaching out with your feedback. We apologize for your frustration. Please know that as a small independently owned business, we are not able to offer cash back to our customers, however we do offer exchanges or store credit provided that the item is returned to us in its original condition with the tags attached and a copy of the receipt. I spoke with our manager that helped you when you were in and she explained that the dress did not have any tags and that you did not have a receipt for the purchase. She said that she offered to help you find a receipt in our POS system if you could provide us with the date it was purchased? She was under the impression that you would be returning with that info? Unfortunately without a receipt it makes it difficult for us to quantify an amount to credit you! We understand that sometimes receipts and tags get misplaced and lost, therefore we do our best to help so that we can make sure we are crediting you properly. Again we apologize for your frustration and would be happy to help you resolve this matter.

I'm really surprised no one has mentioned/complained about the return policy (or lack thereof). I purchased a dress for a wedding. I ended up not wearing the dress, and attempted to return it within a couple weeks. Although their "policy" is placed on a small sign by the register, it's unbelievable to me that their customer service is so poor as to disallow ANY and ALL returns. Never worn, doesn't matter. No in-store-credit. Pretty unbelievable this day in age, when Lulu is next door and has such an amazing reputation, greatly due to their excellent customer service in returns. The "we're local and would go broke if we allowed returns," makes no sense, seeing as how many local stores, which allow returns/exchanges, have been around far longer. This place stinks and I simply can't believe they wouldn't take back/exchange/give store credit for an item purchased so recently and never worn. Be prepared to put down a credit card and never get ANYTHING back, even if you decide you don't like it and have never worn it. Only place I've ever seen with such a horrible return policy. Good luck!
Clarifying my earlier review about the customer service and return policy. I was impressed that the owner reached out and has worked through the issue with me. Although I have not yet gone back in with the item for store credit or exchange, I intend do so and am grateful for the personal service offered by this owner.
The products sold here are beautiful, yet overpriced. They sell out of season items that you can find discounted on Nordstrom Rack or Macy's. I've found exact items from Free People and other brands on clearance online, while they're asking full price at this store. Also, the last time I visited, the ladies working behind the counter didn't smile or acknowledge me when I walked in the door, and there were maybe 4 other people browsing. Nobody asked to help me at all during my experience, or offered to start a fitting room when I had multiple things in my hands. I have worked 5+ years in both retail, and high end customer service, and I try to be understanding, however, they need to have some team training sessions.
