We had mediation with Larry J. Thompson this November. It was court ordered. I could not afford representation. I called legal aid they gave me 3 names from the roaster of mediators. He was highly recommended. He was unprofessional and uncouth. Instead of helping us come to an agreement he tried to intimidate me in all the ways things wouldnt go well for me in court if I didnt have a lawyer. He said you better think twice about the offer that is being offered to you before you walk away with nothing. He would say comments like I dont me to be condescending! His personality was infuriating to me. One of the worst experiences ever.

Wow. I mean yes they got me in same day for a sit down but wow. Ed McClure rolled his eyes at my case, acted like it didn't matter at all and made it seem so easy, then he told me it would be $2,500 to start. What. The next lawyer I went to said all the same things and had the same idea going forward for my case and didn't try to rob me. In the end I paid $750 for a lawyer who doesn't roll his eyes at me and didn't want my first born as payment.
