I believe they currently have changed owners in the past I definitely had a feeling were going in there that it wasnt just a run-of-the-mill puppy store but recently that is changed and I have sent many of friends and family there who have purchased dogs and have been luckily very satisfied with the breed and the health and temperament of their dogs. I have just recently rescued a dog from there is a beautiful nine week old puppy that I was in love with I was told the adoption process would cost 799 filled out all the paperwork and was ready to take my puppy before I knew it the price was over $1000 at that point I had been in the store for about two maybe three hours and it was already closed the girl told me that it was for the microchip and the activation of the microchip... But when I spoke to the company while activating the microchip I actually had to pay them separately and then I looked at the paperwork that I got from the store upon leaving and its always a little bit hectic I mean youre getting a new puppy and usually excited and nervous and then on top of that I spent about $400 over what she originally told me the price was and its my fault for not questioning at the time but there was also another couple there that was buying a puppy and like I said the store was already closed for a while I was getting that feeling as if I was being rushed.. I decided to give them a call back and ask about the couple extra hundred dollars that was charged and couldnt seem to get a straight answer from anybody I was told Id get a callback well that was two weeks ago its totally fine if there is a reason that I want nothing more but I think it couldve just been a mistake she didnt really look at anything when she said the number and like I said in that hectic moment I just handed her my card but then thought that later that night or maybe the next day and couldnt really remember why and the thing thats the worse is my receipt in my package they give me all about The new puppy states that the adoption fee is 799$ and then thats it there are no other charges but I definitely paid 1100 in the end Im just trying to get some answers and Im having a hard time when we go down there again and see whats what hopefully it was just an oversight or at least give me a reason for these extra charges one other thing is when I was there I had asked about if they had a vet on staff the young girl who is now the new owner kind of snapped back quickly letting me know that shes a vet, well that tack well actually she left that tech school but owns the store.. ? so do you have a veterinarian on staff that checks the dogs or not? she said that they do and that he wouldve been in tomorrow but if I take the dog tonight even though I would not plan on returning the dog and he wouldve gotten a check that day because he was just new to the store I wasnt able to bring him back in to get checked by the vet I dont know I guess what Im trying to say is I dont really think they run a great business and the old owners built up something really great that I see them tearing down very quickly..

Walked the nice streets of Red Bank the first time to only be disappointed seeing this store. Read the website about how they only buy from trustworthy breeders etc. only to find the real truth that this place supports some of the worst puppy mills in the country in Neosho,Missouri, the condition of those mills is unbelievable, there are some great rescue organizations in Arkansas that go to the barn auctions for the bred dogs after theyve expended their prime production capabilities and save them from being resold to second hand breeders only to continue to live a worthless life of production. #adoptdontshop

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Bark Ave! Our toy poodle, Archie is now 12 weeks and doing great!! Laci was very nice and made the process seamless. So easy, my family actually bought a total of THREE puppies there and all are amazing and healthy! A yorkie, toy poodle and mini doxie :)

All of your above statements are false and most of all uneducated. NJ has the strictest laws in the country "The Pet Protection Act" which doesnt allow any pet store to obtain puppies from these "Puppy Mills" you claim we get our puppies. Secondly puppies have to be 8 weeks old to leave their mother not 6weeks. I have information on my breeders for our customers to review. Pictures of my puppies parents, and the breeders facilities. We promote rescue also and believe everyone should have a choice where they get there pet.

DO NOT GO HERE--these poor puppies have been shipped all the way from the midwest from puppy mills. They have been taken from their mothers before 6 weeks old. I know you may be tempted to pick out these dogs becuase they are cute puppies, however by purchasing a puppy from here you are directly funding the disgusting puppy mill buisness. Owners and workers should be ashamed of themselves. Please consider checking out the local Red Bank shelter where they have a HUGE selection of dogs and puppies or investing in an ACTUAL breeder, where you can meet the mother and father dog and view the condtions the puppy has been born in. THINK AGAIN before entering BARK AVE puppies or any other "puppy store." My heart aches for these puppies and the mamma dogs. Owners and workers are sly and cunning and could not answer any questions about where their puppies come from and the condtions they were born into. STAY AWAY and do research about PUPPY MILLS before buying any dog.
