I wish I was able to leave a better review, but unfortunately my experience with Save the Date Bridal and the owner Darcy, have been less than satisfactory. I don’t know where to begin to describe how unprofessional Darcy has been. To begin, all of the dresses here seemed very dated, and over priced. I picked out five dresses to begin, and soon found out that several of the ones I picked to try on could no longer be ordered. Instead of apologizing for putting me in a dress that definitely WILL NOT fit, or be able to be ordered, Darcy tried to tell me that the dress (a size 10), could be altered down to a size 0. That should’ve been my first red flag, but I let it go. I found a different dress I loved, and decided to be measured for a custom size. The employee who was the one to measure me stated that she “had never done this before and needed to look up online how to measure someone”, the owner Darcy stated she was too busy to measure me (there were no other clients there, and this should’ve been another red flag). I paid the deposit and left after being told I’d get a confirmation the next day. Almost a week later, I still had not received a confirmation or heard from anyone at Save the Date. After calling three separate times and only getting a partial verbal confirmation (NO email confirmation as promised), I told them I was nervous about their service and not pleased with their disregard to me and my purchase, and therefore I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. Darcy denied any wrongdoing on her end, and denied a refund after trying to blame “buyers remorse”. After discussing the matter back and forth on the phone she agreed to send me a refund. Three days later I received an email stating she wouldn’t be sending the refund after all. I emailed her back and have still not received a reply. I post this as a fair warning to all brides…if you want a smooth wedding dress shopping experience, go ANYWHERE but here. This entire process with Darcy has ruined my experience with dress shopping and I am extremely dissatisfied with her unprofessional service.
