I would not recommend this place for an appraisal. I wanted to get my grandma’s ring appraised and resized so that I could wear it. This was the first jeweler I went to. The short, dark haired lady told me that my ring was white sapphires and had a large synthetic dark red stone. She then went to her manager to ask for his/her opinion, which she came back and said her manager agreed with her appraisal. I went to two different jewelers after this because it did not sit right with me, both jewelers after this told me it was a garnet center stone with diamonds around the outside. Will not ever be going back to Preusser or recommend it to anyone.
