I think rude and discourteous fit what Heiberg brings to the table. The owner equated his unprofessional work to hobos causing a mess. How about the owner get some professional employees who dont leave a mess behind after picking up my trash and glass? Is that too hard to ask? Grow up!

Really great experience with this company. I've moved around quite a bit so I've had experience with quite a few different garbage companies and not all of the experiences have been great. I've even had other companies completely skip picking up my trash!! Then had to wait two weeks for them to come back. But with Heiberg I've had a great experience. They've always been timely with pickups. Great customer service too, I had to call with questions and they've always been friendly and helpful. 5 stars from me for sure.

Heiberg Garbage and Recycle is an awesome garbage service! The drivers are friendly,(Well most of them)And I'm happy to live in the area that Heiberg serves in.

Sorry you feel that way Donaleen - did you ever happen to check out our website through the 2 week storm we had? Our website, voicemail and facebook page was updated the day prior to what exactly would be collected on each route the next day. I feel the "you suck" comment is uncalled for as we were one of the first haulers out of 13 to get out there and start collecting garbage when the weather hit us. Since the storm hit Jan 11th, our message was always the same - "Leave your garbage out at the curb and we will get it as soon as we safely can. Just leave your garbage out at the curb until it is picked up, even if this means our drivers are working on the weekends. If your blue and green carts are not collected within 2 days, this is your signal those routes will not be made up until the following scheduled collection day". Happy to say we caught up on all of our garbage routes before most other haulers in Portland and the majority of our customers are very appreciate of all the hard work our drivers were out there doing.

I know the weather has been difficult but you have been really bad at communicating your plans. Tired of dragging cans in and out because you do not communicate until AFTER we are supposed to have the cans out. You suck. And yes, we checked your website regularly. It was wrong. And we called. No response.
