I hate to post this but we have a 1918 family saxophone and about three years ago we had it completely redone pads and all cost $700. my sons been playing it in school, and we had to have it repaired. I took it in and they suggested a cleaning with the repair $225 and when we got it back it is tarnished and rusted everywhere it looks nothing like how we turned it in I’m so sad and disappointed about the way our saxophone was returned😞 this saxophone had none of this blotchiness before you cleaned it you commented that you did nothing wrong. you called with two options said doing just the pads then price then second option do pads and cleaning the last time we had it in we had it cleaned and it came back beautifully this time we had it cleaned. It had blemishes all over it.
