The experience we had with Moros was disappointing. Based on reputation and reviews, we expected a stellar installation. Instead, we ended up with an average installation. When you are spending thousands of dollars on your kitchen counter tops, you expect better than average. The issues we had were as follows: - Prior to installation, we appreciated the level of patience Marty and Jaimie had considering the problems we were having finding the right piece of stone. In this regard, they exceeded our expectations. - The quotation process wasn't the smoothest with several discrepancies in pricing. We kept getting different quotes which put us in somewhat of an uncomfortable position. Our recommendation would be to ensure that you get all your pricing in writing (which fortunately, we did). - Our job never made it through engineering!! If it hadn't been for our contractor's professional eye, we would have ended up with a potentially precarious situation in which our stone slab on the island may have broken off. This was a HUGE over sight!!! In the end, our contractor and Moros worked together to resolve the issue. - Our Eco Terra recycled glass counter top arrived at our home with scratches all over the top. The installer and then Aaron did their best to buff them out, but they should not have been there in the first place! - The installation team came and went and left us with a mess. They installed the sink backwards, so they had to rip it out and reinstall it. The seam was sloppy and bumpy, so Aaron had to come back and re-do it. The bathroom countertop was finished on the back edge instead of the front edge. One of the perimeter corners was not cut to specs so it had to be redone onsite and as a result it is not quite as round and smooth as the others. Another corner by the refrigerator does not quite fit so it ends with a lot of space and a sharp point. The gap between the wall and the counter top in the bar area was too big and is only acceptable because the painter was able to save it. There seemed to be little attention to detail, and a lot of attention to getting out the door quickly on a Friday afternoon. We researched several fabricators and selected Moros because they came highly recommended to us by several contractors. However, we were very disappointed by our experience. It is our belief that perhaps they have grown too quickly and that they need to slow down and look into what they can do to improve the quality control of their operation.

I have worked with Moros for several years now referring my clients to them. They have always taken great care and pride in the whole process from picking the surface to install. I recently had the opportunity to use them on my own project and couldn’t be more thrilled with the service and products. The staff are all pretty great too! I will continue to refer Moros!

Moros was great to work with start to finish. Veronica in the office helped navigate through the wide selection they have and helped me narrow down the choices and ended up with one that looks really nice. The templating and installers were very thorough, on-time and did a good job with install and cleanup. Highly recommend this shop for countertops

I had a simple bathroom granite counter put in and needless to say it was not a good experience. I think the staff tried very hard, but I got an invoice well before the job was done. I had a hole in my drywall and when I asked about it the response was that I should get a drywall person to fix it. The time it took to complete the job and the overall quality of the work was not worth it. I had to get a handyman to fix things because the backsplash looked awful in contrast to the mirrors. After all this, I would go elsewhere for this type of work.
