Hello Mr. Cioffi and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Nicolock Paving Stones. Our pavers can be plowed and shoveled just like asphalt, concrete and other pavement materials. In fact, snow and ice will normally melt faster because of the joints around the pavers. In our product catalogs as well as on our website, we state that a plow blade with a rubber edge is recommended. We also mention not use sharp objects to chop ice as they can damage the pavers. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

I had my walkway done about 4 years ago. The color seems to be ok. However, do not use these pavers anywhere snow removal is required. They scratch very easily from the skids on a snow blower or any snow removal devices. The scratches do not come out easily or at all. This product is OK if it is used in a non snow removal location. Be advised. UPDATED: based on the manufacturers reply they claim any rubber edge blade can be used. This may be true, but we are talking about the snow skids on a snow blower. I don't know too many snow blowers that have rubber skids. SO MY ADVICE REMAINS - DO NOT USE IT WHERE A SNOW BLOWER WILL BE USED. THE SKIDS WILL SCRATCH THE STONES.
Hi Stanley, we are so sorry to hear that. Could you provide us with the best contact number, email and what time is best for a sales representative to reach you during normal business hours?

Do not use if you get snow or ice. So stupid. I used their product on my steps going to my front door. I bought special concrete friendly de-icer...we live in CT. We get snow and Ice. My postman will not deliver if my steps have ice. Pparantly according to the factory rep you can not use deicer or the pavers fall apart. What a useless lifetime warranty and product for stairs. Great I imagine for Florida but not for New England.
Great selection of pavers and made right here on Long Island. customer service is great too ! Dont be fooled by others and their marketing , NICOLOCK is the BEST!
