We keep the doors locked because of the Homeless problem in the area. They have threatened my Customers AND my employees. SDPD says their hands are tied so we have to lock them. Hope you understand that my employees and Customers safety is our number one concern.

They keep the doors locked which is strange for a business, so you have to ring a doorbell and wait till someone comes to the door. From there it's pretty straightforward to get your order in. Depending on the time of day you'll have to come back a few hours later. Even though they take down your number they don't call you. Other issue was with the paper that I asked for. I asked for 60 lb there was no way what they printed out was 60 llb paper. Other than the fact that I could get duplicates of the same thing for a better quality and the right paper for half the price at FedEx, it's location is nice although the exterior of the building looks out dated.
Manual Marin/ Manny Marin Jr. makes it hard to "support your local print shop". I began working with Printing on 5th in 2014 when I needed some print work done for my work and then again in 2015. During that time, I had felt confident in that if I ever needed a print job done, I have a local shop with high customization that cared about their customers. This has changed. I would not recommend this print shop for anyone, and they will never earn my business. Working with Chris has always been a pleasure, however, trying to work with Manual Martin/Manny Martin JR has been very discouraging. He was unenthusiastic and showed no real interest in my most recent project, didn't answer my questions, and was fast to dismiss my current project while referencing "if you need future help contact us...". "Support your local shop/print shop"??? That's hard to do. If anything small shops may not have control over quantities, prices, location, and so many other things...but one thing every small shop has control over is GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE....If you cant offer that then you might as well be putting yourself out of business....and if a local shop wants to survive then their customer service has to be BEYOND GOOD to compete in today's market; if you continue this method of negative customer service you may as well assist in shutting down your own operation as well because that is exactly what you are doing. Also he quoted me $3.75 a piece for something other shops are doing with higher quality for $.80 a piece; no brainer I went with them.

Our company used Printing on 5th for a last minute rush print job. I had called around, spoken to, and gotten quotes from several shops in the area. We ended up choosing this one because they picked up the phone and were immediately able to help, and we couldn't be happier with the service. They took the order, charged us an extremely reasonable rate, and even provided delivery free of charge. Manny and Chris were super helpful, worked with us to meet our deadlines, and went over and above to make sure that our product turned out exactly as what we were envision. We really appreciate the personal touch and the extra effort you put in to help us out. Definitely recommend this spot!
Had to get an urgent printing job done and their service was above and beyond my expectations. They were extremely helpful in a very stressful situation! I would certainly use them again!
Samuel. We have been in business for over 30 years. You left out a lot of key info WHY you said you had bad service. When you want OVERNIGHT CARDS, which we do out of our location, and we ask you to send over the artwork you said WAS READY TO PRINT, then we see it was not sized correctly, got back to you within MINUTES of opening the files you sent to let you know they are NOT SIZED RIGHT. You never called us back or replied to our email and left a 1 Star review? Really? You never even gave us a chance to print for you man? I hope you found a service who could help you as we wanted to.

Honestly pretty bad service were not helpful in guiding the customer through the process. Dont recommend using them at all.
