If you don't want to be bother by salespeople this is the place to go. I was at Louie's for 45 mintues and NOT ONCE did anyone ask me if I needed help. Maybe that's why I didn't purchase anything.
Bought a 5 gallon Larpin cherry tree but the tree look dead (no sign of new leave) so i return it after 4 days , ask the cashier what cherry tree they have that can pollinate my rainier cherry, they suggested Bing cherry and it's one that has new sprout and leave showing, came home and friends on FB told me my area (just 1 mile from Louie's Nursery) is too hot for bing to even flower. brought the tree back 5 days later and they refuse to exchange because i already exchange once. i don't usually shop at this nursery because their plants and stuff are very expensive compare to Lowes , 5 gal fruit tree they sell for $45, at home depot or lowes only $29. I thought since they sell the cherry tree at their shop it must be varieties that thrive here but i am wrong, one of their customer told me nursery like that they don't care, they just sell whatever plants that were sent from northern part and will never produce fruit here.
Nice plants, but staffs have attitude,we got very unfriendly vibes, and they don't want to talk and help us.But if you are "certain" people, they probably will like you and be friendly with you.Good luck on getting their advice.
