I had been doing business w/ Mr. Mike since they were Hallmark. I bought my wedding ring there ten years ago. I loved that ring because it was unique and that’s what I loved about the jewelry they sell, all of the pieces they have are. Mr. Mike went above and beyond to make sure that my special day had a special ring. ( that’s what he said to me) I knew then that this would be “ my store”. I was very satisfied and happy. So when I found them again as Lafayette Jewelry, I thought awesome! I bought another set of rings, loved it as well, no problem. Then my anniversary came around I wanted another ring. I saw this ring— beautiful! Got it home—stone missing. Brought it back in. OMG! Every stone replaced w/ flat ugly dull stones! The metal was washed w/ a brown chemical— permanently dull! Cried!!! I was greeted w/ a “ nice nasty” attitude when I went in again. Every anniversary, bad memories for me I won’t wear the ring it’s ugly it was sooo pretty b4!!! My husband feels like he took a match and literally set his $ on fire! It IS burnt $!!! That was an expensive ring! Now it’s junk. We had such a nice comfortable rapport w/ them. I know that u don’t care, or maybe don’t even remember this. Life, business as usual will go on for u, and we know that u don’t need our business but WE wanted to continue doing business w/u. For us—— this is something that will ALWAYS hurt. What I want to know is why would u be ok , a reputable co. Such as yourself, knowing that u had even one ex- customer out there which, it’s not the way WE wanted it , but it’s that way, who can NEVER be made whole, my husband lost all of his money and I have no ring, which is YOUR job to make sure of as a company— that we are— and not be doing your VERY best as u have in the past and not fix it w/ us?
