I had Journey Builders come out to do an estimate for a leak in my roof, a small area above my child's room. I will say that the guys who came out were very nice and seemed very professional but they gave me a quote to redo an entire section of my roof for $50k Said there was no other option. When I asked them if they could secure the roof before the next rain for less, they said they could put a tarp up for $5k. A tarp for 5 thousand dollars? I work in the design/build industry and this is an absolutely astronomical price to give. They never even emailed me an actual quote. Not sure what kind of game they were playing.
