Driver doing over 85 in a 55 running cars off the 490. Had to call police. The driver eluded once he saw I was on the phone. He was less than a foot from the rear of my car and ran me off the highway. He proceeded to do the same to multiple cars after passing me. He was driving so recklessly he was throwing stones out of the top of his truck and ruined the front end of my new car and the glass. "Sue" on the telephone wasn't very helpful and was questioning me like I was a crimina along with why I knew he was doing 85mph. I said " because he ran me off the road along with multiple other cars on top of destroying my paint and windshields and headlights. I followed him while calling 911. Duh! Your driver is dangerous and will kill someone. And your customer service is poor. Update: the owner still hasn't contacted me. It's been 2 weeks now.
I ordered six yards of gravel to be delivered to my home. My order was handled with courtesy and professionalism, and I was able to get next day delivery. Unfortunately my cell phone is not reliable, and I needed to be at work, so I assured them that someone was on site to direct the delivery. At 8:20 the next morning, the driver (and also owner of the company) arrived and dumped the stone into my driveway without ringing my doorbell. By the time my family heard the truck outside he was done delivering. The owner of the company apparently made the decision to drop off the load in a site that blocked my clearly visible truck in my driveway, obstructed another delivery vehicle from the site, and extended several inches over my property line into my neighbor's landscaping. When I called to express my disappointment, I was told that the owner waited in the driveway and called my cell phone several times (I only found a single voicemail indicating he was en route), and no one was there (the doorbell was never rung), and no cars were in the driveway (again, my truck was parked only about twenty feet from the pile of stone). I regret not making more thorough plans for communicating, and I must accept blame for that, but I am astounded a company would deliver six yards of stone without even confirming they've got the correct address. This could make a great prank for someone. When I asked for a 5-10% refund in compensation I was told that it is normal business practice and that the price is what it is. When I pointed out that the owner of the company had dishonestly claimed no one was home and no cars were at the site, I was told that they were very busy and no longer had time to discuss my complaint. I would have been happy to get twenty dollars off of a $300 order. Rather than be inconvenienced for the time it would take for the owner of the company to exit his truck and ring my doorbell, Rush Gravel elected to give me the inconvenience of hours and hours of labor with a shovel and wheelbarrow, which I must now complete before I can proceed with my home repairs; since my yard is no longer accessible. If you are confident that you can deal with unpredictable or no customer service, I recommend them for their speed and prices, but if you are managing other things in your life I suggest a company with better customer service. You should be especially careful to supervise their delivery. I will not be using them again.
I called Sue and got same day delivery ! Very friendly and professional from the order to delivery employee . Sue helped me figure out how many yards of gravel I would need also ! Highly recommended ....
Rude people that answer phone. Got passed on 390 by truck 42 this morning that was not covered load. Rock flew off truck and hit my windshield. This is a business that purchases insurance that won't let me speak to a manager or owner and tells me to make a claim through my insurance company. Absolutely poor customer phone service and will not hold liability. My insurance company won't do anything for me besides tell me to contact the buisness because it was their truck. Yet they wont talk to me about it. Dude was going over speed limit and not covered also had poor ability to stay in the lines.
