Dear Ms.Avila, we remember your visit to our store very differently as you stated. Upon entering our store you were said hello to my not only our sales associate but myself as well which as an owner would normally do. You were in our business of 15 years here in Lake a Placid and requesting a quote on a job. What you failed to realize is that in the decorated apparel industry quoting jobs are always based on number of pieces you are wanting us to produce. You would or could not offer that information with insisting on a price of which was not available when you dont want share the amount of pieces. The reason for this so you know going forward collecting your quotes is so you are not quoted too high for larger quantities and not too low on smaller jobs. Luckily for our company we have provided excellent customer service , superb quality with an incredible production rate. Your skin color, religion or anything else was and has never been an issue in all our years in business nor personally. The old guy you referred to is not only an owner but one of the most fairest people in the business. We regret you left our business feeling this way and as I witnessed your own behavior I tend to think you already may have formulated your opinion on us before you even entered our company.

The service is terrible. The old guy that helps with the embroidery is so rude. The owner heard him treat me with terrible customer service and did nothing. Then you wonder if it is because I am brown skin. Either way they are not good people. I felt a bad vibe from the moment I walked in the store. No hello, nothing!

I highly recommend Lake Placid Embroidery & More for your embroidery needs and more! I have always been very pleased and happy with every job the Owners have done for me and happy with every item I have purchased from the store. The Owners are phenomenal business people. They go above and beyond, not just for me, but for every customer who walks through their door! As soon as you walk in the door to their business, they greet EVERY customer with warmth and enthusiasm, which is so inviting! They make you feel like family with their warmth and by giving each person one-on-one personal attention, which always makes me want to come back. Many other customers have expressed to me the same warmth that I feel and...their warmth is genuine! The quality of the Owners embroidery work is superb and precise for each customers needs! The Owners also take TREMENDOUS PRIDE in their embroidery work and present the finished products with the utmost, highest and exceptional quality! The stores display cases are always very organized, the store is extremely clean and it is always presented in an inviting manor! Truly, Lake Placid Embroidery & More is the only place I like to shop in Highlands County as they have something for all! I invite you to check this store out! You wont be disappointed! This is a wonderful local boutique in Lake Placid, Fl. The owners Steve and Gini give so much to our community. They are well known and highly respected throughout the county. I shop in their store frequently and am always greeted warmly and with a friendly hello by both Steve and Gini. They aim to please their customers whether it is the embroidery or boutique side of the business. This is the best store in the county!
