I am an avid cyclist and have been cycling for over 15 years and have never experienced such poor customer service. I purchased a pair of cycling road shoes from Gizmo cycling shop and when I attempted to attach my cleats, one of the screws just spun in the hole as if stripped from the start. The shoe was clearly defective out of the box, however the store owner, Bill Corey, has taken almost three weeks to respond to my emails and refuses to just exchange the shoes for a functioning pair. He keeps stating he needs to get a warranty apprival from CRONO, the shoe manufacturer, themselves, which is INSANE. If i had bought these in his store, he would have just swapped them out immediately. Why is this any different buying them online?? To this day, I am still waiting for a resolution from Gizmo Cycling. I will leave this review up until I hear back and then update this post accordingly.
