I bought 3 articles of clothing, and all 3 articles of clothing had defects. This is unacceptable for the prices he is charging. The shoes had poorly cut leather and the stitching is already coming out. The shirts have holes in the material. These are the types of defects you see at Gordmans, not a "high end" clothing shop. Not sure what his deal is, but look every thing over very carefully before you purchase.
Immediately walked in and was greeted with a rather repellent odor. As mentioned in a previous review, don't bring your coffee in the store. The owner (whom is very unpleasant) will condescendingly ask you to put your coffee on the ground, pathetic! The price point on his clothes do not match the quality- this is coming from someone who has tailored suits and clothes from some of the most reputable stores in Kansas City (not the mall). I might have caught Geno on a bad day and would be willing to give his store a second chance, but the repellent odor that greets you as you open the door is enough to keep me coming back- for good.
Great store, they do an excellent job of merchandising and have great clothes. Very convenient hours and great service. I like doing business with them and it is perfect for my son also, who is in his early 20's.
A message to the millennials- Pretty good inventory- but what I am assuming was the owner- not so pleasing. My fiance and I (who we both are in our late 20s and have pretty reputable careers) walked in one Saturday to purchase some St. Croix for my fiancé and Tommy Bahama for my father. My fiancé had coffee (with a closed lid) in his hand. The moment we walked into the store- the employee (who I am assuming was the owner based off other signifiers) immediately said “Watch your coffee” to my fiancé in a rather harsh tone. My fiancé- assumed he was just lightly joking- said “yes, of course!” and the employee just looked away behind his desk. Very rude, not respectful. He then proceeded to not even get up from his seat or ask if we needed assistance finding anything. I understand we may look young, but we both are very presentable individuals who carry ourselves with dignity and respect to understand that if we soil your property- of course we would pay for it. My fiancé and I have purchased multiple items from this store and contributed a significant amount of business- but going forward, I would have to decline. A message to management- if you’d like your brand to stay in business, I would not only focus on your dying demographic, but also give attention to the younger generation who appreciates the style you are selling.
