I bought a 200 dollar pair of Red Wings that unfortunately took damage due to the fast lace hooks catching onto each other while I was at work. Being that it had only been four months since their purchase I thought they would acknowledge the warranty and give me a replacement. However, three employees decided to reject my argument and refuse to do anything for me. Instead, they directed me towards the Red Wing store in Clifton Park where the employees said it was Mohawk Army Navys responsibility to resolve the issue. Needless to say, this has all been a giant waste of time on my only day off and I will never be shopping at Mohawk Army Navy ever again.
Staff were all friendly and helpful but seemed overwhelmed when I went to the store. They had to order my boots from the vendor because none of the other locations had them in stock. It took over 2 months of me calling them to be informed that they no longer made the boots that I ordered. They told me that they contacted my employer because they didn't have my phone number yet I gave them my phone number when they asked at the time I ordered them. I could have had the boots I needed much earlier had I been informed from the beginning that they were discontinued. It took me three times calling them. I had ordered them on January 2nd and just found out today, March 29th after calling yet again. Poor customer service and very disorganized in the ordering department as far as I'm concerned. I now need a new voucher from work and will be looking elsewhere for boots.
