We are sorry you feel this way. We have tried hard to follow all of the Government guidelines regarding stopping the spread of COVID 19 so that we could reopen our high-street store, including hand sanitizing stations and social distancing around the store. This is to protect not only the public, but our staff as well. Our staff will be firm in implementing these regulations, which includes asking members of the public to follow the appropriate steps. May I kindly point out that all shops, including Go Outdoors, will ask you to do the same, so please bear this in mind each time you enter a retail premises. As of the 24th July you will also be required to wear a face mask in shops as well, so please don't be offended if asked to wear one. Again this is to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. I am sorry you feel that way but we dont make a point of automatically giving additional discounts on our range of products. I heard the conversation in question and the member of staff was certainly not rude. After repeated discount requests he was simply firm in stating the policy of the company. We offer great prices to begin with, usually under the manufacturers RRP, so do not offer discounts on already discounted products.

Really rude. I politely asked if there was any discount available to be bluntly told no as I would only abuse a discount code. Ill look forward to giving my money to businesses that can be polite to potential customers.
