Hired Alomar in August to DJ our wedding reception and had an agreement that certain music, that we preselected, would be featured. They agreed and gave a specific DJ as he was "well versed" in the electronic sound we were looking for. We made it very, VERY clear that we didn't like or plan to have traditional music. We created the playlists- about 3 hours worth of music, spending 6 hours building it together. We asked him if he would be comfortable going through and listening to it to have an idea of when to play each song, whether it was a dinner song or a dance party song type of thing, before he was hired he said he'd happily do so. Hired them and everything went down in quality instantly. Emailed him the list and didn't get a single response, called and he was clearly uninterested in our playlist "uhhhhh yeah, I can do that...". When the reception came, he played only 5 of our songs. The Electric Slide was played instead, with all your (uninteresting, no fun to dance to because it's been over played for 10 years) classic wedding songs you hear every. Single. Time. Songs that I find inappropriate for a wedding were played as well, making myself, the bride, uncomfortable at my own reception...i like electronic music because there aren't many words so it's hard to be offensive...i made that clear. We had been pumping up our friends and family all year for the dance party that was going to be our wedding reception, and alomar single handedly destroyed that dream. I cried for hours the next day, I couldn't believe that I was bored, and embarrassed at my own reception. He was so polite, very kind....but if you have specific requests, do it yourself with an Ipod.

Alomar Entertainment was the preferred vendor and recommended by The Charles in Fort Wayne. Maybe we got the new guy but, our experience was less than favorable. When announcing the bridal party at the beginning the the reception he "forgot" to introduce the parents of both the bride and groom. How does one forget that? Then, he was playing music SO LOUD during dinner I had to tell him to turn it down. He didn't play songs on the bride's playlist (he claims he did but, we all know he didn't). The music wasn't fitting for the crowd at the beginning. And, the incorrect version of the mother/son dance was played when in fact the bride was quite specific of what version to play. Our experience with Alomar was kind of a train wreck. Too bad because a girl only gets one wedding day (hopefully) and wants everything to be perfect.
