Vanessa, thank you for visiting our store and apologize for any confusion. Consignment stores are not unlike shoe stores in that you can buy your shoes at Walmart or at Jimmy Choo's. Obviously there is a big difference in price and quality too. DR has been in this business for 15 years and pricing is very important to us. We not only look at the functionality of an item, we look at the brand and quality and condition of the item. There is a big difference in say a bar stool from one of our local high quality furniture companies like Woodley's or Stickley and a cheap Chinese knock off. There are consignment stores that are more likely to carry these cheaper products. We also research items to see what they retail for and typically start at 50% of retail or lower depending on the condition, age, etc of the item. All of the home décor, accessories and art work at DR are new items. We spend days looking for items that will provide our clients with good value on quality items that meet current decorating trends. I hope you give us another look.
