I also told them that I was going to call the health department so maybe that's why they didn't give me a refund or a gift card who knows but Swensons has lost their integrity their honesty and their values I'm going to make sure that everyone knows that they don't practice good health codes and make sure that anyone that I know that comes to Akron does not spend their money at these restaurants they failed to keep the values that were set so many years ago I'm so disappointed.

Have been eating at Swenson's for more than half a century. I grew up about 2 blocks from the original one in Akron. The burgers at this particular location were really off the mark. Sloppily put together and wrong proportions of condiments. The onion rings were few and burnt. Service wasn't the best. Now I know why that at the peak of lunch time there were only two cars on the lot.
I've come here almost every night this week and will continue coming here with my daughter. It is a really great bonding experience to share a meal in the car together, and the staff here could not be more friendly. The credit card machine wasn't working this evening so they just gave us the meal for free.
