I booked the Head Spa treatment. Online it looked wonderful. There were many steps and it sounded like expensive products were used and my scalp would be inspected with a special tool. Basically my hair was washed three times with shampoo, then a conditioner. Then a hair mask and I was left under a steamer for 15 mins. There was some massaging of the scalp. There was no looking at my scalp with a special tool, there were no essential oils applied to my scalp that would help alleviate any concerns I had. None of this is done in a private room. You are at the shampoo bowl the entire time. Not very relaxing with people all around.the staff was very nice and the gentleman who did my scalp was friendly, That is why I gave it a two stars. The service itself just wasn’t I imagined and not worth the price.** The owner did call and apologize and make things right. Apparently it was a scheduling error, the persons who do the service are out on medical leave so I have updated my rating, Update: my sister in law has yet to be refunded, and even though they apologized, we booked at least a month in advance. All of this could have been avoided if they had just been honest and said the employees that did the service were not available.*
The lack of professionalism is far to apparent. While training your apprentices please teach them how to gain the publics trust and basic professionalism. It will go a long way!
The salon is very nice on the inside. But I don’t recommend you booking this place. Everything is a la cart I was told after I checked my receipt. $65 for a wash and blow dry. On the website it’s $50 I was over charged. $80 to silk press a basic flat iron I could have done at home. $35 for a trim? The lead stylist Christane is too rough and heavy handed. He don’t comb out my hair once I was done washing it. Yanking and pulling on my hair. He burned me with the blow dryer and flat iron several times. This place is ridiculous! Price gouging at its best! Well the owner does have to pay for that nice shiny building. If you are going to get serviced I recommend seeing Mary for a pedicure. It’s the only service worth getting.
