I lived here for about 3 years. Really old apartment and smells like it also. That is my biggest complaint is that the place smelled and also you can hear everything that goes on next door.. snoring.. alarm in the morning.. everything. Because of this I took off a star. I took off an additional star because at the end of my lease, the leasing office tried to make me pay for a brand new microwave because of a crack (of which I am not sure I caused) on the door handle. Thankfully because I knew that the microwave was 8 years old and had completely depreciated in value, I was able to argue my way out of it. The reason I don't trust that the crack in the microwave was caused by me or was a mixup between another apartment is because this actually happened to me before. I was charged for an item on my rent and it turns out they charge the wrong apt. Maintenance team is very timely.. no complaints there (besides the mixup charge). Most times the leasing office does not pick up the phone. And even emailing them, at the beginning I would get timely responses but toward the end of my lease they had all new staff (btw the turnover rate is ridiculous) and were not responding to emails. I had to reply back several times in order to get a response (deducting a star for this also). All in all 2/5 stars.
