Abey, Austin Creative Landscaping, subcontracted Flix Fencing for fence portion of landscape work. We completed payment to ACL when fencing (installed under his supervision by Flix Fencing) was substantially complete on April 2. Almost 3 months later, the work has not been completed. At this point, it's a safety hazard. The job site has not been cleaned up from work done over 3 months ago. Pieces of metal are strewn on ground. Some of the work is shoddy (wobbly, not straight, gate will not open enough to move lawnmower.) We had to do work on uncompleted fence to prevent dog's escape. The process of staining fence and adding landscaping cannot be started. Our contract administrator provided a detailed punch list. The list is long. It could be followed as a checklist. Abey is such a nice guy. This is such a disappointment.

We hired Abey to help turn our yard into an enjoyable space that would be easier to maintain than the overgrown jungle that we had. He and his crew did excellent work and were very professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. They were even willing to accommodate changes and requests throughout the project. We had them take out a couple of overgrown trees/bushes, install an irrigation system, all new sod, mulch around the existing crepe myrtles with corten edging, and a basalt gravel patio with pavers and new steps leading from the existing patio. We couldn't be happier with the results. Definitely give Abey a call!

We had a great experience with Austin Creative Landscaping. Abey helped us preserve the contemporary lines of our landscaping while making the necessary changes. The work was done in a timely fashion and when the weather caused delays, we were notified as to when work could resume. We were happy with the appearance of our backyard, but needed better drainage to prevent water from collecting under the house. We added french drains, adjusted the heavy steel edging, made the adjustments in the sprinkler system, and raised the contour of our yard to direct water in a different direction. The system is now working perfectly after being tested by two heavy rains. We are very pleased with the improvement in water flow and would recommend Austin Creative Landscaping without reservation.

We highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping. Abey Bruce, the owner, was willing to come on to our rather large project that had been abandoned by another contractor. Abey and his team of very polite and hardworking guys proceeded to fix the poorly constructed deck and railing, clean out a lot of junk rock and cement that the other company left in our yard, construct beautiful stone retaining walls, construct a terraced, steel walkway, create a flat gravel area and flat lawn area with artificial turf, landscape the front, back and side including a gorgeous 10' steel trellis that Abey designed and suggested, and tear out and rework our driveway to be able to capture more pervious cover. They also tore out a concrete walkway and created a beautiful stone patio and walkway. The work included a beautiful lighting design and new irrigation. They took our extreme mess and totally transformed it all and made it beautiful in about 6 short weeks. Thank you Austin Creative Landscaping!
