Purchased a watch on the website using 0% Klarna finance option which was available which went through straight away NO problems. The STORE then cancelled the sale and gave me different stories as to why it was cancelled, none of them being the truth! I hate being lied to. I was told I could still purchase using a credit or debit card for 6500 but the 1500 deposit that I already paid won't be back in my account for 3 days at least. I'm more upset that I now have a Hard Search on my credit file for absolutely no reason. It was like doing business with Ronnie and Reggie

I have bought high quality watches for myself, my wife and my son from Banks Lyon. As a returning customer I didn't expect them to attempt to rip me off when my Omega Seamaster needed a replacement clasp spring. The gentleman inspected the watch out of my view in the back of the shop, before returning to announce that I needed an entire new clasp, at a cost of 150. He also tried to get me to agree to having 10 bracelet pins replaced for a further 150. I reluctantly agreed to have a new clasp, but a month later when they had failed to contact me back I typed "Omega clasp spring" into google. Low and behold the original Omega clasp springs are available for 13.99 and the pin removing tool is just over 2. There is even a video to show how the replacement is done. Two days later my watch was back to new condition and I had saved a huge amount of money, (no thanks to Banks Lyon.) My advice would be go elsewhere for all your repairs if you want to avoid being conned.

The young guy (didn't catch his name) needs to do more research on products. Asked about how much the Tag Heuer Connected 2020 straps are and if they had any in stock. He said they're 130 for the strap plus extra for the clasp. I said the clasp are included in the price so he went to double check, he came back saying the same thing! So for this reason, I've bought 3 straps from a different shop.... for 130 each. To be fair, the shop was clean and staff are polite.
