Hi Michael, Im sorry to hear you will no longer be using our small business. As we discussed, we have used these setting ourselves and had no issues with setting a slightly undersized domed stone into these setting - unfortunately these are not particularly suitable for flat stones which I believe you were working with. Due to the nature of these settings, they provide enough room for both slightly undersized and oversized 10mm domed stones and are therefore suitable as 10mm size. We always recommend checking that your happy with your required stone alongside the setting, and if it is not suitable you are welcome to return for a refund however as you said, we were unable to do this on this occasion due to the setting already being soldered. I recently bought two 10mm Crown settings,prompt delivery all good, I had to solder two loops onto the settings as required for earrings, all OK, when I came to set the 10mm stones into the galleries they fell in , when the setting was measured with a vernier they were both 11mm, kernow craft say this is OK but cabochons require as neat a fit as possible, kernowcraft refuse to refund based on the fact I have worked on the settings, but they advertise the setting as 10mm when in fact they are 11mm, I did check with the sales person before buying. Very poor I have used kc for 15 years on and off will not use any more

Overpriced silver - I suggest Cookson or Bellore Rashbel Stones are not calibrated, they dont even fit their own Bezel Cups Poor customer service, even the supervisor advised me that she gets several calls a DAY about cabochon stones not fitting their own cups! Companies want you to buy local, however when the service is this bad I will buy from a company who provides good that are fit for use!

I love this company they are fantastic to deal with nothing is too much trouble and if they, havent got what you want they will ask if you would like a replacement thats as near as possible and I have always been perfect.i would recommend them 100%. And on a personal note they have been so helpful in my last order I cant thank then enough, the products are fantastic and service great especially with all thats been going on.

Bit annoyed bought from Kernowcraft a few times and they have been fine but my last order the beads didn't all have the same size hole and the gold vermeil earring snapped off too easily, I didn't put much pressure on it and I can't solder it back because the gold plating would come off and when I emailed them about it all they weren't helpful at all had to prove that the beads didn't fit the recommended size they said and then there response wasn't at all helpful. I feel like they don't care.
