Terrible, dont allow enough time for people to pay before fining you. Staff are not customer service representatives when phoning for help they are simply debt collectors. You cant even pay them without having problems. Due to my name not being on the registration document of the vehicle (though its registered to a business) they wouldnt discuss how much they was going to charge me but they was happy to take my card details. Joke. Update 29/12/21 - had to deal with this incompetent company again. A customer used the bridge and forgot to pay. Customer has accepted responsibility and is prepared to pay the fine. I have had to do 3 representations and it is still on going. First one they never received though it was done via their website portal, second one they said there was refused for no supporting evidence though a completed legal hire agreement document was attached. I have now done a third, cant wait to see their next excuse for their incompetence UPDATE after the above. Refused again for no supporting evidence. After calling them this time speaking to a really helpful member of staff and between us figured out there was an issue with the website not uploading the documents though all parameters were correct (size & format). I was given a direct email address to email the supporting documents to but I still had to do another representation online but state they had been emailed driectly. UPDATE- REFUSED AGAIN! for no supporting evidence! After another and another helpful person (think merseyflow have finally employed SOME decent staff), she was able to find my email and dealt with it there and then. Few days later a final letter saying they are no longer perusing us for the payment and a thank you for using the mersey gateway...
Even though we put no toll in Google maps, it must have taken us this way. Zero signage and then get a letter fining us 20 plus 2 for the toll. A few other cars got cropped with this 'fine' as well. One tried to pay on the day but couldn't, just a money grabbing scheme
Easy to pay online, just make sure you pay by midnight the following day. Easy to follow the road markings. It's clearly signposted that you have to pay, and the staff on the phone are very helpful if you need to speak to them for any reason
Spoke to a lovely guy today ( EHSAN) who helped me with an underpayment problem also to top up my account Im a technophobe but he was very helpful and took the time to talk me through everything . Why cant all companies be run like this ?? The man was a credit to Merseyflow Cheers bud! WA8 9 NG
Not from the area and my Satnav sent me over the bridge. I had seen a sign warning of a toll ahead. I crossed the bridge and came off a slip road straight after and though to myself the toll booths/barriers must be further down the road. Didn't even realise I had to pay online never before have I used a toll without slowing down to a stop to pay there and then at a barrier. 22 just to nip over a bridge and I know there will be lots and lots of people making the same mistake. Almost seems like it's set up to catch you out what a joke! Tossers. Must admit the bridge is lovely and nice to pass over and i would of gladly paid 2 to do so but 22 then 42 after 14 days dayummmm son.
