Found a great dress on Tuesday several weeks ago but it was too large. They said they could alter the dress but I am not local and I needed the dress for an event on Saturday. They said they could alter the dress and have it ready by Thursday and a family member could pick it up and overnight it to me. This would work. First red flag, alterations have to paid in cash! So I paid $65 and they pinned me. A family member picked up the dress. I received the dress on Friday and tried to try it on. The dress had been 1-2 sizes too big and now could not be zipped. When I called, Joann Parker, the owner, said that I was not putting it on correctly. I went to a seamstress in my home town and she said the alterations were horrible and the dress was now 1 inch from being able to be zipped up. I now had to pay $65 to have someone let out the dress and re-alter the dress and do so in less than 24 hours. Joann said I would get some or all of the initial $65 back. It has been several weeks and Joann will not return my call nor have I received in money back!
