You've made it clear you won't forgive us for this but for the sake of others, I want to explain. The youth mentioned was repeatedly pressing the action button on a toy. In our opinion, the first few times were fine but it had gotten to a point where it was just draining the batteries and we wanted to preserve those for someone interested in buying the item down the road. The reviewer thought it had only been played about 5 or 6 times (based on another comment) but we put it at more than a dozen. Regardless, we did ask them to please stop in order to save the batteries unless they were going to purchase it. We did not intend to be rude and are sorry it was perceived that way. As a small store, if a battery dies, the item isn't returnable, many won't buy electronics that don't work at the store and if we have to open the package to replace a battery, we have to sell it as opened / used. We hope all patrons, children and adults, have a good experience when they visit BaT and are sorry that this reviewer did not have that.
