Hello, ND. Thank you for your assessment. To give you a little bit of context, we never claimed to be the cheapest place to get your dog or cat spayed and neutered. And that isn't something we would take pride in either. Compared to most private practices, we are low cost, which is why many of our clients choose us. We try to find a fair price point that is accessible to most people, but allows us to use the best anesthetics, pain medication and surgical supplies, as well as pay our skilled staff that diligently look after our patients. Above all, we are uncompromising in the care we give our patients. And this is why most of our clients choose us.

May be nice and state of the art, definitely not low cost. They quoted my 25 lb 5 month old puppy at $400. Not low at all.
Hello Allison- We are sorry that you feel frustrated about not being able to get an appointment. I have looked through our records and spoken to our staff to make sure my information is accurate. We have had 3 email correspondences with you: The first was almost a year ago when you inquired about services for your sisters dog. At that point, we were fully booked a few months out, but were taking appointment requests. I personally called you back but was unable to get in touch with you. I emailed you back giving you 3 different avenues: calling us, texting us, or using our online scheduler. The second was 2 months ago, regarding an inquiry for your puppy. At this point, we were fully booked, and no longer booking appointments as we were booked almost 4 months out and we only schedule our staff 2 months in advance. We instructed you to continue to check our online scheduler and facebook page often to see when we started booking appointments again. We know it has been frustrating, but other clients have had success by diligently following up, checking often, and calling us. We sometimes dont pick up the phone because we are also taking care of patients. But we have voicemail, and we call back everyone who leaves a message, so I cant imagine that nobody is returning your calls. The third email arrived last night, stating how desperate you are to have your puppy spayed and you cant get an appointment with us or anyone else. This email was sent around the time of this 2 star review. I cant fathom why you are still trying to schedule an appointment with us if you are that disappointed in our customer service. You stated multiple times that you had your cat spayed with us. Although we are happy that clients come back with other pets, this is a difficult time and it doesnt make you more entitled to an appointment than anybody else. The veterinary industry is in crisis- just google it. Most veterinary clinics have long wait times due to high demand, staffing issues, and slower turn around time with appointments. This is all related to the global pandemic. We are trying our best. You stated in your email that you have tried other places and cannot get in until November (which really isn't that bad)-it seems that you arent just mad at us but at veterinary practices and the wait times in general. Did you give every veterinary clinic you called a 2 star review or just us? Since the pandemic started, we have sterilized over 5000 animals despite the veterinary communitys ongoing issues. We cannot make more hours in the day, or do more surgeries than we feel we can safely handle with the staffing we have. Our patients safety and comfort and keeping our staff from burning out are far more important than how convenient we are, or how quickly you can get an appointment with us. At the end of the day, our staff members all go home to other caregiving duties. We all have children, elderly parents, and pets that need us too. We are sorry for the wait time, but there is nothing we can do about it at the moment and are really disappointed with your lack of understanding on this matter. Good luck finding a veterinarian to spay your puppy and in the future I would try some patience.

They took care of my cat when she needed to be spayed 3 years ago Im having a trouble booking with them now due to high volume and corona virus but my 8 month older puppy needs to he spayed and they will not return my calls.
Thank you, Francine! It has been a challenge through this difficult time. Email and texting has really helped us out with client communication- even though we would rather see everyone in person.

As always, professional, friendly, courteous, and thorough! Great follow up through text or email when needed, and very attentive to detail. The facility is spotless and the staff are super compassionate. Experts at what they do...we will never go anywhere else.
Hi there and thank you for your review. Everyone is going through such a tough time this year. We want to help out as many people as we can.

Very thankful for reasonable prices, after losing my job due to covid and being a single parent had helped me out. Wish i would of known this with all prior pets growing up, thank you and stay safe during this crazy time
George, our heart goes out to you but this review is completely unjustified. You called us 4 days ago reporting that your dog had a pyometra. This is, without a doubt, a life threatening emergency. We occasionally perform these surgeries at our spay clinic (and we decide this case by case), because if caught early, and the patient is in good health, we feel that we can get the surgery done quickly, provide post operative care instructions, and send the patient home for monitoring and follow up with their private practitioner. We do this only when we feel it is safe for the patient. We are not a round the clock veterinary hospital, so we do not perform surgeries on animals that are debilitated or have major underlying medical conditions. This was all explained to you (4 days ago) when you called us. At that point, after Dr. Potter took the time to review your dog's medical records and exam findings, we told you we could squeeze you in that same day or the next and gave you an estimate. We did this despite the fact that we are fully booked, and it would mean staying after hours to finish our surgery day. You told us you would get back to us, and never did. Caroline, our front office manager, reminded you that this is life threatening, and that your dog's condition will worsen the longer you wait. Today, (4 days later) you called us and wanted us to perform surgery on your dog. At this point, your dog has not been eating for over 4 days, and is severely debilitated. We do not have the ability to care for her post-operatively now. She now needs to be in a full service veterinary hospital for further monitoring and more aggressive stabilizing and supportive care because she is so ill. We don't have evening and weekend hours, so in the best interest of your pet, you were told to go elsewhere. You say that you have exhausted all other options. We find it hard to believe that you could not find a veterinary hospital that will perform her needed surgery. Our interpretation based on what you told us on the phone is that you cannot find a vet that will perform the surgery at our prices. We are only able to charge less than private practice because we aren't a full service veterinary hospital. We perform outpatient surgeries for patients that we feel are not debilitated and have a low anesthetic risk (i.e. patients that are stable enough to go home soon after surgery). Your dog was in that category 4 days ago, but is not in that category today. We couldn't in good conscience take her in as a patient. Everyone in our hospital is a pet owner and caregiver. We are all juggling multiple responsibilities, especially given the past year. Yet our staff comes to work every single day to take care of other people's pets with the same love and consideration they give their own. They have done this tirelessly, and they do not expect gratitude in return. They do it because its their calling. You should consider this before slamming a small business for not performing a service that is far outside of their scope and accusing the people who work there of a lack of empathy. We are truly sorry your dog is sick and we do hope you get her the help she needs soon. She's in our thoughts.

I highly don't recommend this place as they are too busy even for an emergency situation. They have no empathy towards loving pet owners who only want the best for their loved one. They told me to find someplace else as I already told them I have exhausted all my efforts in doing so. I am truly disgusted and would not recommend this place.
