Literalmente nos echaron de la playa. Esta gente tiene la concesión y se creen que son los dueños de la playa , si no les pagas por sus servicios no te dejan navegar. A los locales los dejan navegar pero si no sos de la ciudad son muy poco amistosos. Realmente tienen una actitud muy poco deportiva. Nosotros viajamos desde Argentina para hacer kite en Miami y yo le escribi un email a esta empresa para que me dijera si podia navegar alli. Me respondieron que si pero una vez en el lugar nos exigieron que paguemos 90 dolares por persona para demostrar que eramos kiters nivel 3. Nosotros llevamos nuestros carnets de IKO nivel3 pero no los aceptaron. He kiteado por toada sud america y el caribe y nunca me han echado de una playa, esta gente solo tiene un negocio y no representa el espíritu del deporte que es basicamente libre.Para navegar en Miami Beach solo la entrada de la 28th o la 87th son verdaderamente spots libres, de todos modos no e suna ciudad que ofrezca buenos vientos, son poco predecibles y poco constantes

Hi Alexandra, We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience and were only able to do 15 min of the hour you booked. Unfortunately as you may or may not know, kiteboarding is 100% wind dependent. Very often the forecast says there will be a certain amount of wind in which we would be able to teach and many times it does not turn out to be the case. We do our very best to teach what is possible with the conditions on any given day. Our instructors are highly trained and have been working with us for many years. What our instructors will never do is to try and give you a lesson with insufficient wind in order to simply deliver your lesson this is common at many schools but TKSMIAMIWATERSPORTS prudes itself on getting their students up and riding property and safely when the conditions allow. Since you requested a refund you were given a refund, but many times students reschedule for a day with better wind. We understand you may be traveling and that may not suit your needs, therefore a refund was issued. Once again, we apologize for your negative experience, but would love to get you out on the beach on a good day so you can truly get the full experience. There is a reason TKSMIAMI is the go to Kiteboard School in Miami for the past 18 years and have the support of the entire local kiteboarding community. We would urge you to try and reschedule and would give you a free lesson for your troubles. Best TKS

I think this is my first google review ever, but I would not recommend booking an experience with them. I paid a lot of money for a kiteboarding lesson only to never hear from TKS to book my lesson. Scheduling was a hassle, and when I arrived my lesson was only 15 minutes when I paid for an hour. They gave me a refund, but I found the whole experience to be misleading. Id recommend booking with a different company.

Im a Miami local and after noticing more and more people on the beach kiteboarding i decided to give it a try myself. This is the only place i could find that offered lessons, and after 3 hours with my instructor Lauro i was already out on the water doing basic movements. The staff are super chill and friendly, and they are definitely professionals at what they do. Definitely recommend this concession to anyone interested in either lessons or rentals of paddleboards, surfboards or kiteboarding/kitesurfing.

Passed by about 5 feet or less from the ocean, a guy that said he was a kite instructor started verbally attacking me and insulted me because he felt that I was too close, I just didn't see them, while he was teaching someone. I was considering hiring their services, definitely not the spirit of people I want to do business with or recommend.
