Very disappointed. I am a resident of West Babylon for 17 years and i have been dropping off trash and recyclables for years. Today as usual i go to counter to check in with the same young lady that sits at the middle desk on left side of office for years and tell her what i'm dropping off. For some reason today she tells me it's $20 to drop off trash and states that it has always been $20. I have never paid a fee to drop off trash ever and there are google reviews stating there are no fees for drop off. I recently dropped off 30 crates of records without any questions 4 months ago and dealt with the same lady. Unbelievable!!! Then she has the nerve to say they do not accept debit or credit so who's to say the $20 bucks isn't going in her pocket, smh. Now i do not have a problem paying 20 bucks but don't tell me it's always been this way when i never paid a fee before. #irespectyourhustlelady #trash

How do they expect working people to use this facility if it closes at 2:30 and closed on the weekends. Then they wonder why people dump stuff in the woods and on the side of the road. People need to get some smarter people to run this town. I guess paying $17,000 in property tax is enough money to keep this facility open on normal hours
