Not happy with this service. Understand this is NOT a company with it's own technicians. It's a call center type company that outsources to subcontractors in your area. So, I call them with my refrigerator issue of not running. I told them it was the main control board so the technician would be prepared. Sure enough after the tech did his diagnosis he agreed it was the main control board. He then explains he has to order the part and he'll try his best but it'll take about a week. Why wasn't he prepared with parts or have a parts inventory readily available for your most common failures? This was on a Friday. Monday I go down to my local parts distributor and buy an OEM control board myself, go home, and install it in literally 5 minutes AND viola problem fixed. So, in the end the tech charged me $150 to come out, trouble shoot, and order the part. $300 to be due once installed. Total repair cost $450. I would have been fine with that cost IF it was repaired right then and there, or the same day. Instead, I purchased the part for $220 and with the initial $150 I saved $80 doing it myself and fixed a lot sooner. I would not use this company again nor recommend it. Instead find a local appliance repair person or company with its own technicians and quick parts procurement. If I can go down to my local parts distributor and get an OEM GE PART... SAME DAY!... they should be able to do the same since it's their business.
