I give one star only because I can't give zero. This company is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. Late deliveries, Non deliveries, lies about when deliveries will happen, inaccurate billing, poor customer service, ...I could keep going. Do yourself a favor, don't use them.
In 20+ years of restaurant and hospitality experience I have never seen a more disorganized, more unprofessional disgrace of a vendor. Not just linen vendor, worst of any vendor. This company literally not once got our linen order correct. Not only were the numbers wrong, they routinely sent us shirts and items that we didn't even order. They would then try to charge us for the items that we didn't ask for. The best part came THREE MONTHS after we had stopped using NELS when a truck showed up at our shop and tried to deliver more items that we never ordered! The driver was like "I don't know. This happens all the time." Save your restaurant or business a lot of headaches and money and use ANY other linen company.
I'm very happy with the service we get from NELS. The napkins, tablecloths and uniforms are always impecable and our account manager is very responsive and attentive to our needs. I love NELS!
We changed the amount of linen we used and then was faced with hidden added fees. There were times we were charged 40% on replacement and damaged charges. There were also times we were charged for linen bags & uniforms, though never received them. We were also charged sales tax and SEP charges (a total of 14%) on items returned. Beware of this company they'll do what ever it takes to charge you for items... Don't just let the staff check the order in, you have to count and check each invoice
