Hey Emerson, sorry you had this experience (and for the tardy reply). Give us a call and perhaps we can offer some tips. It's probably no consolation to you but our countertops manufactured today come with a permanent treatment and resist stains without annual sealing.

It's not the place, it is the product. Came in my new condo, and hate it more each day. Very high maintenance and stains extremely easily.
