Cabin was nice and well maintained, however the pond was too filthy to fish in. It wasnt well maintained and had so much moss and weeds to fish hardly at all. Disappointing as we rented the location as a fishing getaway. The hot tub had an extreme amount of chemicals in it. The chlorine smell was was wildly strong and took your breathe away. We only got in it one time for fifteen mins only and got out because of the potent chemical smell and excessive chlorine foam. Although we were in it once for a few mins only the owner sent me an email after checkout saying we soiled the hot tub, although we did shower before getting in it as she obsessively explained in the rental agreement. She stated we were lucky she didnt charge us a cleaning fee which I find absurd. The owner was also very rude upon checkout. Upon checkout, we went to great lengths to clean up after ourselves which caused us to be loading up the car to leave at 11:08am and the owner pulled up the drive and complained that we were holding her up from cleaning and needed to go. We stayed four nights, and on the last night my brother came up and ended up staying in the extra bedroom. Because the owner rudely came up the drive upon our checkout and seen that we had an extra guest above what Id told her she then took it upon herself to charge my cc for an additional guest for all four nights without asking or checking with me first. Again, the cabin was nice, the owner was very rude and unprofessional to a paying guest. Wont be staying here in the future.

Overall very happy staying here. Used VRBO to book the reservation. Google maps was a little off and I passed the big sign for the cabin before Google said I arrived. Very peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. Plenty of cookware and glasses. They have marshmallow and hot dog sticks. They have board games and cards. Not wheel chair friendly. I should have brought liter fluid and kinddling to make starting the camp fire much easier. The rooms were good size. The beds were soft. Very clean. The hot water in the kitchen sink is very hot so be careful. My wife thinks the shower had hard water and made it harder to do her hair. Plenty of room for the family to watch a family movie and gather round the natural has fire place. They also have a small charcoal grill which we didn't use we cooked on the camp fire by the pond. The cabin is kind of in a small valley and you do not see or hear anyone else.
