I was a med aide and caregiver for bonaventure for about a year and a half. This place is the worse place Ive worked at management works you to the ground as well as not caring about the care the residents are actually receiving. This place is so overly priced for things residents dont even get. Bonaventure did have their good moments and the residents were absolutely amazing but its sad how poorly treated staff are along with people being hired who really shouldnt be in the health care field. I 100% would not recommend this facility until they fix the issues they have.

Megan, Let me start by saying I am sorry you felt it necessary to leave such a review. As you know our payroll system is through a program called Paycom which allows the employee to manage their own hours which includes punching in and out for shifts and also allows the employee to review their time to ensure they are paid accurately. If you were missing hours on your final check than I can only assume you did not verify your hours as we required. We will certainly follow up with the community to ensure that you will be paid for any time that you did not clock in for. As far as the management team at Bonaventure of Albany, both our Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director have been with our company for years and have a great track record based on knowledge and customer service. As a company we complete a resident satisfaction survey every 90 days which includes and recommendation rate. The most recent survey which is completed by residents and is anonymous gave the community a 97.4% recommendation rate. Which shows that our residents are satisfied and happy with the community, leadership, and care. We wish you the best.

If I could give zero stars I would. I worked here for a few weeks and the management is pathetically bad at their jobs. Everyday there was a new crisis that could have been avoided had management done their jobs. Now Im having issues getting my final check from them and have received the run around from the front office on where my money from the missing 50 hours I worked is. Not to mention how terrible the residents are treated and ignored by management. Whether youre considering working here or putting a family member here I would advise to go somewhere else because this place is a mess.

I have worked for Bonaventure of Albany since it very first opened. Being an employee there has been excellent! I have grown very close to my staff members, they are like family to me. The management team is amazing, I've been a manager there this entire time. Everyone makes sure the residents come first, no matter what it takes. The residents are what keeps us going!

This company is terrible. They treat their staff ridiculous. Management isnt good, everything gets swept under the rug. most staffing places in Albany will NOT recommend this facility. The company doesnt pay well. This place is the worst place Ive ever worked at. Theres lots of unnecessary drama
