I got some fresh jalebi being made outside on the store front. They were made in desi ghee. Fairly good. Pricey. Then they charged a credit card fee on top. What is wrong with all these indian stores? They are making hey in the pretext of inflation and making expenses to pass off on to customers. This is really not good. I had no plans to buy jalebi. Yet i could not say no when i first asked are you making fresh jalebis. He said yes. Actually he was done making them an hour ago. Now just wrapping it up . I had half a heart of walking away. When something is not truly useful we should think walk away , using will power or mindfulness. I don’t want to contribute to unnecessary demand to create more inflation and these predatory merchants.
We came here for early morning or late night food hunt around 3am. They were open and available with full menu . The interiors are good, reminds of Indian local travel train. Also the posters of amitabha or amul reminds you a lot of India. We ordered chicken tikka paratha, cheese Chili paratha and 2 mango lassi. The lassi was very savoury and did not taste good rather acidic. We asked them to change it but they mentioned it’s made in the same yoghurt so we had to leave that. Next, The food here is decently good however there was less or no salt in the parathas , rather all salt was in the yoghurt dip we got.
