I really wanted to love the experience. The Bryant Park space is nicely decorated, they provided refreshments on arrival and cookies on my way out. And it is fun to feel like you are getting personalized service (although it didnt really feel very personalized as I ended up only liking the items I specifically requested). I was really disappointed in the size options. There are no petite sizes and they do not offering hemming/alteration services. I also found the clothes to be very unforgiving of any flaws. While I did buy a pair of pants and a top, the pants I bought are among the most unbreathable material of any I own (unbearable to wear in warmer months). And the top is looking more and more crumply even with ironing despite it being wrinkle resistant. I dont really see the high quality they promise.
My friend and I, who are young professionals, made appointments month in advanced hoping to find some business/business casual wear that would be fitting for us. We were especially interested in the self-hemming pants and blazers where you could remove the padding. Once we arrived to our appointment a little before 11 am, we were rudely greeted. The lady opened the door and with an off-putting tone informed us that they were not open for the public until 11 am unless appointments were made. I told her we had an appointment at 11 am. She then let us in and after a few minutes of silence she asked if we would like any refreshments. Her tone completely changed once she confirmed our appointment. We were then greeted by our stylist. The stylist I was paired with was unconcerned with me as a client/customer. She provided me with a few pieces and did not provide any comments, feedback or suggestion. I had to ask her and try to prompt her to help me. I felt very off-put and uncomfortable with the whole experience. Overall, I'm disappointed with the services that was provided at M.M. LaFleur since it was the exact opposite of what they advertised. I felt the service was judgmental and sub-par from the average retail store.

I, unfortunately, did not have a good experience with this business. The quality was disappointing and the whole experience was very disappointing. I decided to splurge and try them out. I ordered 8 items and only received 3 that took about 2 months to get to me. Communication was poor and promises kept being made about when the items would ship and then there would be no items. I inquired about why nothing was being delivered and it took days for a response to be received. They did say that warehouses were being moved, but would that really take 2 months to communicate with me? And how were they moving things? One item at a time by car? I did get a 10% off to be used on my next purchase, but after getting emails that pieces of my order were no longer available I gave up and asked for cancellation of the remainder of my order. It was refunded, which is good, but there was absolutely no followup or inquiry. The couple of clothes I did receive definitely were not worth the price I paid. I was excited about a quality clothing line, but they have lost any further business from me.
