Thank you for your comments. I take it you are either looking to purchase or have purchased a licence to submit a single tax returns for 14.95 + VAT and later wish to pay an extra 3 + VAT to be able to submit 4 additional returns. Our prices are based on licence to submit returns as advertised on the website. The 5 Tax payer licence to submit up to 5 returns represents a good value at 17.95 + VAT. We do not provide upgrade licenses for submission of 4 more returns by paying 3 + VAT. I am sure you will agree that this is not economical. Beware you can not upgrade from 1 to 5 licence and for example pay the difference.....You have to buy additional licences for the same period! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Software is good, support is awful and they have a ridiculous method of buying licences

What a superb company. I feel I simply must let people know how good they are. They make it all as simple as you could hope for to use their software and I have successfully submitted all my returns online for the past 6 years. If ever I have had a problem, I have contacted them for advice (usually email) and they have always answered speedily, with clear and factual information and guidance about how to rectify things. Most recently I needed to submit an amended return for the first time and they asked what the error message was, and gave me clear and concise instructions on how to resolve the issue so I was able to resubmit it successfully the next day. They also have a support portal on their website. I am a layperson who is a bit of a technophobe (i.e. I dont know much about anything - though I do use a computer regularly). I have used the Andica software to complete and submit tax returns for 4 people (all family members) for the last 6 years. Prior to this we filed the paper returns. I buy the individual Self assessment package licensed for up to 5 people as it is fantastic value to download from their website. If you are considering using a software company for your tax returns then I thoroughly recommend you use Andica.com

I used Andica for a decade before retiring and found their software easy to use and navigate for submitting our partnership returns. Good reminders from them about purchasing the latest version and helpful service. Highly recommended.

I guess that we all get nervous filling in our annual income tax returns. I used Andica Self Assessment software first for a year or two between 2004 and 2008 when working in the City. My wife and I then bought a business abroad and lived and worked there for 9 years. On returning to the UK to retire, I've continued to use the Self Assessment software and find it brilliant. Slightly "old fashioned" in a way, but really, it is SO easy to use. And the best of all is that the forms get submitted online directly to HMRC, with a date and time stamped HMRC receipt. Good value for money at 18 definitely. Thanks guys.
