Went out on a Saturday evening to get an ice cream snack. I couldn't find a dairy queen close by so I went to dairy belle. Never seen nor heard of them before, so we tried them. Not satisfied with product. I paid 12.50 for 2 scoops each for 2 people. What a total rip off. I should've gone to publix, the ice cream was no different. No staff wore masks, as I watched them breath into the ice cream cooler as they served us. I was at least expecting something more gourmet, not even any toppings for the 12.50 but ended up with overpriced regular cream that can be bought at any corner store. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. Go to 7 eleven. Ice cream is the same.
Very nice place. The fried chicken sandwich was excellent and also the poutine and ice cream sundae. They have a outdoor area but it's covered with a roof, so it's very pleasant. The string lights create pretty reflections in the glass so it seems like there's a million little lights - beautiful! They do not have hamburgers at this time.
Great burgers, dogs, and poutine! Reasonable prices, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating very happy with the experience, looking forward to dessert!
We went to Dairy Belle tonight with my partner's service animal. We were told that we had to leave unless we showed proof that he was a service animal (which is illegal in Florida). After showing his ID, I let them know that legal proof isn't required, so that they don't run into issues in the future. The worker and owner were both incredibly rude. The owner gave me a letter and insisted that it backed up his claim that proof was required, even after we read it and it said nothing of the sort. He told me that the service animal wasn't real and asked what was wrong with my partner anyway. It's a shame, but I just can't justify supporting a business run by people who would be so insensitive. Hope that this gets better in the future. Everyone has off moments.
