Hi Olivia, apologies you have not been happy with our service so far. With regards to your boiler, we did send an engineer out who managed to get the boiler back on. He has been trying to get back in touch with you after the boiler went down again and has been given the permission by the landlord to do whatever he considers necessary to get the heating and hot water sorted. I believe that it was booked in between yourself and the contractor last week but unfortunately the repair hasnt been done yet. He will be contacting you today. Regarding the damp, our repairmen work normal working hours of 9-5, Monday to Friday, we have suggested that if you can't be available to use our office keys but to no avail. They are coming out to you today to inspect and have the appropriate next steps taken. I can assure you we are doing everything possible to fix the repairs in your property as soon as possible and will keep in constant contact with you.

I have lived in my house let by this company for 2 months and I've had nothing but problems. I've had a gas man see to the boiler and he's suggested it was replaced but Amazon have cut costs by getting the boiler fixed which barely lasts a week. I've been in this property for 2 months and have spent at least a month without hot water or heating. They don't reply to messages, all you get is leave it with me and then you don't hear. You have to chase all the time and you just get fobbed off. My house is damp and they've just covered it up. They send workmen round when they know I'm not in to cover their backs. No one stays in this property more than 6 months due to this management company. I'm ill and my dogs have had massive vet bills sinfe we've moved in and they don't care one bit. AVOID THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPSJY AT ALL COSTS

I've only recently became a tenant with Amazon Management Services but so far I cannot fault them. Any time there has been an issue they have organised a repair right away for a time that's convenient for me. The staff are very friendly and approachable. So far, I'm really happy to be renting with them and hope to continue doing so for the foreseeable.

Hi Michael. Any problems that were reported were dealt with. As you are aware, we have a repairs section on our website which sends any problems through to everyones computer and this is dealt with. I would also like to point out that just over a year ago, we replaced the oven with a brand new one and the state that you left it in was appalling. I am sorry that you are disappointed with our service, but if you have any problems that you felt where not getting dealt with, then you could have contacted the manager to reiterate them.

Wanted to give no stars. Lived in a flat for years, and had nothing but problems. And the agents themselves did nothing, continuously, despite registered problems. Don't rent from this company would be my advice. I would insist that if anyone from Amazon would like to respond to this review, that they contact me directly. Though, this seems like a long shot as communication is not their forte unsurprisingly. [Following Amazon's reply:] I think we both know that most of this is demonstrably incorrect. I have no issue with the oven/hob (even though I maintain that the massive amount of damp and *black mould* around the flat, including the kitchen contributed to some of its wear and tear) - however, to state that any and all repairs that were requested were completed in good time, again, is demonstrably incorrect and deceiving future tenants/renters. I would draw your attention to, first, the exceedingly high levels of black mould and damp that were never dealt with even though these were mentioned during my first viewing; secondly, the cavernous hole in the ceiling in the kitchen that the tradesman said he would 'come back on Monday and fix properly' but never did, because it was (and I quote) 'unsafe'. I would also be remiss not to mention, to other potential tenants, that you are now trying to withhold my deposit for a range of things - some of which I do not dispute - however, having to pay 50+ for the basement to be cleaned out is ridiculous. And it is especially ridiculous considering that the basement was in a massive state of untidiness and disrepair, cluttered with previous tenants items, when I moved in and yet I am the one being asked to pay for 'cleaning' and removal of a modest number of things left in the flat (i.e. a pin board and some empty removals boxes). I would also remind that, on the week I was moving out, the flat was broken into and the police's first responder, criminal forensic officer and lead investigating officer all commented that the front door was not at all 'secure' or 'fit for purpose' and was easily a safety risk. This, of course, is also a very serious 'oversight'. I would insist that this back and forth not continue via Google Reviews - and remind you that I requested you contact me directly to respond; however, I understand and accept it is your prerogative to 'manage' your reputation online in this respect. I am in the process of opening an investigation and appeal with the Deposit Protection Scheme and have accepted the advisement of a lawyer to assist me in this. I have a range of evidence, including pictures and email correspondences, to the effect of this review and more and intend on making sure your, frankly, cavalier and (what is tantamount to) inhumane approach to some of your properties and tenants does not continue.
