I've been to the store at Columbus circle twice. First time was nice with an Asian guy who was very helpful. Second time, this past Sunday afternoon, the sales person (Caucasian) tried to sell us a music box to give a new-born infant. But when I read the description on the box myself, I found that it clearly stated that it's not for 0-3 year old. This was super irresponsible behavior from a toy shop! I also witnessed him sold the music box to another customer who was also getting it for an infant. The attitude of the sales person was also weird. Especially when I asked to look at the packaging box, he questioned me :" what do you wanna see? I can just tell you." Well, he has clearly missed the most important information for a toy product that is hazardous to a new born baby!
Although this store offers a unique product selection, the prices are too high to justify. Many of the products offered aren't even manufactured by Toytoise. I unfortunately don't see anything other than the original Toytoise wooden race cars and vehicles that a child would play with beyond one year.
