We had an overall pretty disappointing experience. After ordering a rug and not hearing anything for a week, we looked at the other google reviews and immediately realised we had made a mistake not looking at these earlier. It took more than a month for the rug to arrive and I had to constantly follow up to get updates on shipment process. The issue causing delay was that Rugs Express sold me a rug on their website which they did not have in stock even though the website said it was. They explained the website still showed this rug as in stock because they did have other sizes, just not the one we had chosen. This is a major failure in their website and anyone looking to purchase should seek an express confirmation that the rug and size they are intending to purchase is actually in stock. The website cannot be relied upon. Rugs Express should fix this issue immediately. That being said, when speaking with Zac, he was frank and upfront about these issues and although we were frustrated he took responsibility for the error and assured us we can have a refund, an alternative product, or wait for the product to arrive from their supplier. Ultimately the rug arrived off the container and was shipped, and we are happy with the quality of product received. The price as well was reasonable but in reality the 'express' in 'rugs express' is dubious to say the least.

Terrible customer service and severe lack of communication. Ordered a rug on the 26th of November - had received no updates till late december, almost a month later. Was told that the rug was out of stock and that I will be provided with alternatives. Received no such email. Finally got in touch with them to process a refund in Mid Jan, was told they would refund it. Still havent gotten an update on the refund and have received no communication since the 12th of Jan.

Have always had positive experiences buying from Rugs Express. They have a great range of rugs available & their website is easy to navigate. Ordered and paid for rug 3 weeks ago and heard nothing since. Still trying to follow up with the company to check this is a real outlet... beware
